Our Frights and Pints Old Town Alexandria Tour is currently open for public tours and private tours year round. Check the availability calendar under Book a Ghost Tour for currently running schedule.

It is an approximately 2-2.5 hour walking historic haunted pub tour. You will be taken on a tour by a costumed tour guide along a walking route that will explore the history and haunted past of some of the most historic and haunted places and buildings in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The tour will stop at approximately 3-4 different pub locations and several different stops along the way, while giving the group time to hear a story and get a beverage at each location. The stories are a good mix of history as well as some popular ghost stories along the way. This tour also comes with a surprise gift for each person during check-in.

Tour Specifics: This tour will visit some of the most well know haunted locations in Alexandria, VA. The pubs that we visit on this tour can be small and crowded at times, so our guides will tell most of the stories outside or along the way on this tour. The pubs on this tour typically have a large beer selection and the tour has been incredibly popular for a more casual night out. The tour will end just a couple blocks from where we start on King Street, which allows for easy access to some of the other great bars that Old Town Alexandria has to offer.

Departure Information: All tours depart at 8:30pm from Chadwicks (click map below) , 203 The Strand Alexandria, VA 22314. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure for check in, just look for the person in costume. The closest metro stop is King Street Station. You can either walk, cab or take the FREE King St Trolley (Information Here) to our starting location.

Renee is a Gem!

Our bachelorette party had a blast with Renee! It was great fun and her stories were very engaging. We learned so much about the history of the town and all the spooky specters involved. She even recommended some sites to see later!

Good Time!

The tour was great and we really enjoyed it. The only thing I would suggest is for the guides to use microphones because it was difficult to hear the stories at times

Lindsay guided us on a fun evening in and out of 4 beautiful & historical bars. She really knows her stuff! This tour was a highlight on a business trip to DC and was a great adventure to do with coworkers.
