We're adding Mobsters to the mix! Organized crime found a home in Chicago in the 1920s: from loansharking to gambling, to prostitution and extortion, to political corruption and murder. Join us as we pop the bottle on those spirits—while our tavern partner pours them—taking you on a ghoulish and grisly tour of Chicago’s haunted gangster hot spots. Nightly Spirits’ Haunts and Hooligans Tour will illustrate Chicago’s haunted history of secret parlors, underground tunnels, murderous movie theaters and supernatural speakeasies. Whether you’re a recent transplant to Chicago or have lived among the Windy City’s ‘others’ for years, you’re about to get a haunted history that may leave you with more memories than you dare to retain.

What to Expect:
You’ll get a haunting mixture of ghostly stories and ghastly gangsters on this walking tour of the Magnificent Mile in Chicago. Your costumed guide will meet you at the infamous Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse, once home to the notorious Frank Nitti, who served as Al Capone’s trusted enforcer and eventual successor of the Chicago Outfit. You will get the chance to purchase your own libations while you hear spooky stories and tales from Chicago’s Gangster past. We will then journey into the night, following the very footsteps of some of the most notorious crime bosses in history. We will make sure you know exactly what might be lurking in the alleyways and drifting up from the depths of the Chicago River!

Tour Requirements:

• The purchase of alcohol is not included or required.
• This tour is open to all ages until 7:30pm, when it becomes 18+.
• This is a walking tour that covers a little under a mile in total. We also visit the basement of a historic building so this tour is not recommended for those with mobility restrictions.
• Tours run in all weather, so please prepare accordingly.
