Haunted Cocktails – The Nightly Spirit

The Best Halloween Cocktail – Nightly Spirits Official Drink

We get asked a lot what our favorite cocktail is and most of the time we default to asking what type of alcohol you like and go from there with an answer. However, since the beginning Jared has had his all time favorite ghost tour drink and we have dubbed it the official drink of Halloween, The Blood of Nightly Spirits. Jared experienced a variation of this drink for the first time at the Occidental DC by his favorite Bartender Mike during the founding of Nightly Spirits. It’s been a lot of years and a few iterations, but we have perfected this drink and we will be rolling this out on our ghost tour pub crawls nationwide through 2021 as our featured cocktail.

We provide two different recipes for strength and sweet. The reason being, as Nightly Spirits has evolved, so has the taste of our chief spirit hunter taster, Jared. He originally preferred a sweeter cocktail, but now prefers a more spirit forward cocktail. As the nations largest and best ghost tour company, we have dubbed The Nightly Spirit as the official cocktail of Halloween season. Check out both of our recipes below and depending on how sweet you like your cocktail, you can vary the amount of cherry juice from 1-2oz depending on taste as well as reducing the whiskey from 2-1.5oz.
