Nashville Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour
A nightcap at Freebird Downtown, then ninety minutes of Music City's grown-up ghost stories with nobody but your own group listening. The Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour is the darker, shorter cousin of our pub crawl.
📍 Departs from: Freebird, 150 Second Ave N. — please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
Your group meets its costumed guide at Freebird Downtown, a haunted bar a short walk from the Ryman, and orders an optional nightcap while the guide explains who else is drinking there, and for how long. Then you head out for about a mile of walking through downtown Nashville, past the Ryman Auditorium and its restless performers, the Hermitage Hotel and its loyal 1920s employee and the historic buildings whose stories we keep off the family tour.
This tour fits a friends' night out, a bachelorette crew that wants chills with its cocktails, a date night with a pulse or a work team that prefers one good drink and a lot of good stories to a long crawl. Private tours run every day with start times from 1 pm to 9 pm, and the duration, meeting location and drink stop can be adjusted. Guests at Studio 154, Moxy Nashville Downtown, Courtyard Downtown, Dream Nashville or Noelle can have the guide meet them at the hotel.
Pricing starts at $325 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $27.50, and rises to $375 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 16 to 22 guests depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups add a guide. Everyone must be 18 or older, and only guests 21+ with ID may buy alcohol. Parking downtown is hard to find and expensive, so ride-share is the easy answer. Your guide ends the night with a recommendation for another favorite haunted bar.

Do guests need to be 21?
No. The tour is 18 and over. Only guests ordering the nightcap at Freebird need to be 21 with valid ID.
How is this different from the Booze and Boos?
Shorter and darker. One bar stop instead of three, ninety minutes instead of two and a half hours, and stories we save for adults.
How do we book a larger group?
Base pricing covers up to 10 guests. Reserve online for up to 15 and email us for 16 or more so we can add a guide. Dates cannot be guaranteed more than a month out.
What if the weather turns?
We walk rain or shine, and the first stop is indoors. If conditions become unsafe we will reach out about rescheduling.
