Temecula Spooktacular All-Ages Ghost Walk
Old Town Temecula still has its wooden boardwalks, its 1859 storefronts and, according to a lot of people who work there, its original occupants. The Spooktacular is our family-friendly, 90-minute walk through the Old West's leftover spirits.
📍 Departs from: Stone Church Brewing, 28636 Old Town Front St. #103 (Old Town Temecula) — please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
Your costumed guide leads the group a little under a mile along Old Town Front Street and its side streets over about ninety minutes, past the frontier-era buildings that make Temecula look like a movie set and behave like a haunted one. Stops include the Palomar Inn, where guests have long reported trouble getting a full night's sleep for reasons that have nothing to do with the mattress, and the old First National Bank building, which still echoes with the town's first attempted heist.
The stories reach back past the pioneers to the dry creekbeds where ghostly Native figures are said to linger, then forward through the Wild West years of stagecoaches, cattlemen, outlaws and the saloon disputes that ended badly. This is the all-ages version, so the guide keeps the chills friendly and the history front and center. Most of the spirits are harmless, and your guide knows where the others hang out so the group can decide how close to get.
The tour runs about ninety minutes, entirely outdoors, rain or shine, so dress for Temecula weather, which usually means bring a layer for after sunset. Minors need an accompanying adult, and children 4 and under join free with a paying adult. There are no bar stops on this walk, and your guide will have recommendations for dinner or dessert in Old Town when it ends.

Is it suitable for young kids?
Yes. It is our all-ages tour and the guide keeps the stories spooky but friendly. Minors must be with an adult, and children 4 and under are free.
How much walking is there?
A little under a mile over 90 minutes on Old Town's boardwalks and sidewalks. Strollers manage fine; wear comfortable shoes.
Does the tour stop at bars?
