Four score and seven years ago our founders brought forth in this city, a new touring experience, conceived in Libations and dedicated to the proposition that all spirits are created equal. Alright, so it wasn’t quite that long ago, but our White House Booze and Boos Tour® is where it all began! Your costumed tour guide will take you along a walking route that will explore the historic and haunted bars of Washington D.C. From deadly duels, to political scandals, to former presidents with unfinished business, the tales of our Nation’s Capital will fill you with fright. And if they don’t, there are plenty of spirits in each bar to impeach even the biggest skeptic!

What to Expect:

Your walking tour will last about 2.5 hours, exploring the history and haunted past of some of the most historic and haunted pubs and buildings in Washington D.C. We will end right next door to where we began at the Willard Hotel where you can enjoy a drink in the Round Robin Bar if you aren't quite ready for your spiritual journey to end!

You will visit up to three haunted bars* so there will be plenty of liquid courage available for purchase as you face the former residents of Old Town.

*Nightly Spirits does not guarantee a certain number of bars or a specific route, but our guides are equipped with plenty of chilling ghost stories to ensure you have a fun evening.

Tour Requirements:

• The purchase of alcohol is not included or required.
• All tour guests must be 21+ with a Valid ID.
• This is a walking tour that covers a little under a mile in total. Because we do visit bars in historic buildings, this tour is not recommended for those with mobility restrictions.
• Tours run in all weather, so please prepare accordingly.
