America's oldest city has had since 1565 to collect ghosts, and it has not wasted the time. This private pub crawl takes your group through St. Augustine's haunted bars with a pirate guide all to yourselves.

The Private Booze and Boos Tour is a 2.5-hour walk through historic St. Augustine with stops at three or four haunted bars, starting at City Perks at Fort Alley. At each bar your group settles in for a drink while your pirate guide introduces the regulars who never left, then you walk the old coquina streets hearing about the Casa Monica's bride who died on her wedding day, the little girl who still haunts the lighthouse grounds, the Old City Gates, the Huguenot Cemetery and the colonial fortresses that saw more than their share of bad endings.
Groups book this for corporate outings, team-building, holiday parties, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends and family visits where somebody wanted the Fountain of Youth and somebody else wanted a drink. Being private, it bends to your plans: most tours start between 4:30 and 9 pm but earlier works, drop a stop to shorten the night, skip the drinks or have the guide start or end at the restaurant of your choice. Guests at nearby St. Augustine hotels can ask the guide to meet them in the lobby and walk them to the route.
Pricing starts at $350 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $30, and rises to $400 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide handles 16 to 20 people depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups are split across guides. Everyone must be 21 or older with ID. The free STAR bus serves downtown, and lots and metered parking are nearby. Read the signs; the city is enthusiastic about tickets.

How many people can we bring?
The base rate covers up to 10 guests and one guide takes 16 to 20 depending on the date. Larger groups are split across guides at an additional charge; groups of 16 or more book by email.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks average $8 to $14 at the bars. Guests pay their own way or the organizer can cover the group tab, and your guide knows the specials.
Can we shorten the tour?
Yes. Drop a bar stop or skip the drinks and the tour tightens up. We can also start or end at your dinner reservation.
What if the weather is bad?
We tour rain or shine. The bar stops are indoors and the walks between them are short. Florida storms usually clear before the second round.
