Tampa Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour
A nightcap at Tampa Bay Brewing Company, then ninety minutes of Cigar City's grown-up ghost stories with nobody but your own group listening. The Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour is the darker, shorter cousin of our pub crawl.
📍 Departs from: Centro Cantina, 1600 E 8th Ave. suite 200. Meet guide outside on the steps. — please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
Your group meets its costumed guide at Tampa Bay Brewing Company in the heart of Ybor City and orders an optional nightcap while the guide explains who else is drinking there, and since when. Then you head out for about a mile of walking past the old cigar factories, social clubs and brick storefronts of Cigar City, with stories told without the family filter: the Don Vicente Inn's Hotel Hell reputation, the rum runners who never left and the workers who still clock in at factories that closed decades ago.
This tour fits a friends' night out, a bachelorette crew that wants chills with its cocktails, a date night with a pulse or a work team that prefers one good drink and a lot of good stories to a long crawl. Private tours run every day with start times from 1 pm to 8 pm, and the duration, meeting location and drink stop can be adjusted. Guests at Hotel Haya, Hampton Inn and Suites Ybor City, Hilton Garden Inn Ybor, Vista Village or the Citrus Inn can have the guide meet them at the hotel.
Pricing starts at $325 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $27.50, and rises to $375 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 18 to 22 guests depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups add a guide. Everyone must be 18 or older, and only guests 21+ with ID may buy alcohol. The TECO streetcar stops at Centro Ybor right by the start, and your guide ends the night with a recommendation for another favorite haunted bar.

Do guests need to be 21?
No. The tour is 18 and over. Only guests ordering the nightcap need to be 21 with valid ID.
How is this different from the Booze and Boos?
Shorter and darker. One bar stop instead of three or four, ninety minutes instead of two and a half hours, and stories we save for adults.
How do we book a larger group?
Base pricing covers up to 10 guests. Reserve online for up to 15 and email us for 16 or more so we can add a guide.
What if the weather turns?
We walk rain or shine, and the first stop is indoors. If conditions become unsafe we will reach out about rescheduling.
