Boston Private Spooktacular Ghost Walk
Beacon Hill after dark, a costumed guide and ninety minutes of ghost stories, all reserved for your group. The Private Spooktacular is our family-friendly Boston walk with nobody else tagging along.

The Private Spooktacular Ghost Walk meets in front of the 21st Amendment, steps from the State House, and winds through Beacon Hill's gaslit lanes for about a mile. Your guide fits in as many haunted sites as ninety minutes allows: the Granary Burying Ground and its famous residents, Boston Common and the spirit of a woman hanged there for witchcraft, the Omni Parker House and its permanent guests, plus the lesser-known doorways and alleys where the stories get strange. The walk stays outdoors and the ghosts stay mostly friendly.
Because it is private, it works for groups a public tour does not: a school trip, a scout troop, three generations of family in town for the weekend, a company outing that has to work for non-drinkers, or a birthday for a kid who has read every haunted-Boston book in the library. Start as early as 10 am or as late as 9 pm, seven days a week, adjust the length, pick your meeting point or add a cookie stop. Guests at the Omni Parker House, Hyatt Regency, Four Seasons, Moxy, Park Plaza or Revere Hotel can have the guide meet them in the lobby.
Pricing starts at $300 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $25, and rises to $350 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 18 to 22 people depending on the date; larger groups add a second guide. There are no food or drink stops and we do not go inside the haunted buildings, so the pace stays lively. Metered street parking and the Pi Alley and Boston Common garages are nearby.

Is there an age minimum?
No. This is our all-ages walk. The guide keeps the stories spooky but not traumatizing, and adjusts the tone for little ones or a rowdy adult crowd.
How do we book a group of 20?
Reserve online for up to 15. For 16 or more, email us so we can confirm a second guide. Base pricing covers 10 guests, with per-person tickets after that.
How much walking is there, and is it stroller friendly?
About a mile over 90 minutes. Beacon Hill has brick sidewalks and some hills, so strollers are doable but expect a bit of bumping.
What happens in bad weather?
We walk rain, snow or shine. Dress for the season and bring an umbrella. If conditions become unsafe we will contact you to reschedule.
