Denver Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour
One haunted LoDo bar, one nightcap and ninety minutes of Denver's grown-up ghost stories, all for your group alone. The Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour is the darker, shorter cousin of our pub crawl.
📍 Departs from: Pigtrain Coffee Company inside Union Station (1701 Wynkoop St, Denver, CO 80202) — please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
Your group meets its costumed guide at a haunted bar near Union Station and orders an optional nightcap while the guide explains who else is drinking there, and for how many decades. Then you head out for about a mile of walking through Lower Downtown, past the Victorian warehouses, old hotels and former brothels of Market Street, with stories told without the family filter: frontier hangings, the Oxford Hotel's 1889 tragedy and the red-light district residents who never checked out.
This tour fits a friends' night out, a bachelorette crew that wants chills with its cocktails, a date night with a pulse or a work team that prefers one good drink and a lot of good stories to a long crawl. Private tours run every day with start times from 1 pm to 10 pm, and the duration, meeting location and drink stop can be adjusted. If your hotel is close to the route, the guide may be able to meet you there.
Pricing starts at $325 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $27.50, and rises to $375 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 16 to 20 guests depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups add a guide. Everyone must be 18 or older, and only guests 21+ with ID may buy alcohol. Your guide closes the night with a recommendation for another favorite haunted bar, and the free 16th Street Mall Ride is two blocks away.

Do guests need to be 21?
No. The tour is 18 and over. Only guests ordering the nightcap need to be 21 with valid ID.
How is this different from the Booze and Boos?
Shorter and darker. One bar stop instead of four, ninety minutes instead of two and a half hours, and stories we save for adults.
How do we book a larger group?
Base pricing covers up to 10 guests. Reserve online for up to 15 and email us for 16 or more so we can add a guide.
Does it run in winter?
Yes, year-round, rain, snow or shine. The first stop is indoors and the walk is about a mile. Dress for Denver.
