The Private Booze and Boos Tour is a 2.5-hour walk through downtown San Antonio with stops at three or four haunted bars. At each one your group settles in for a drink while the guide introduces the regulars who never left, then you walk the blocks between the Alamo and the River Walk hearing about the city's most haunted hotels, the soldiers who never stood down and the long-time residents of Alamo City who decided death was no reason to move.
San Antonio companies book this for team-building and holiday parties, and friends book it for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, Fiesta and relatives in town for the Spurs. Being private, it bends to your plans: most tours start between 5 and 9 pm but afternoons work, drop a stop to shorten the night, skip the drinks or have the guide meet your group where you are finishing dinner. Guests at the Sheraton Gunter, Home2 Suites Riverwalk, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, Holiday Inn Riverwalk or Courtyard Riverwalk can have the guide meet them at the hotel.
Pricing starts at $350 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $30, and rises to $400 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide handles 15 to 20 people depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups are split across guides. Everyone must be 21 or older with ID. Street parking downtown is scarce, but lots and garages near the Alamo put you close to the route.

How many people can we bring?
The base rate covers up to 10 guests and one guide takes 15 to 20 depending on the date. Larger groups are split across guides at an additional charge; groups of 16 or more book by email.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks average $8 to $14 at the bars. Guests pay their own way or the organizer can cover the group tab, and your guide knows the specials.
Can we start from our hotel?
Yes, if you are at the Sheraton Gunter, Home2 Suites, Hotel Valencia, Holiday Inn or Courtyard on the River Walk. Other nearby hotels can often be added for a small charge.
What if the weather is bad?
We tour rain or shine. The bar stops are air-conditioned and the walks between them are short. South Texas storms usually clear before the second round.
