San Antonio Private Spooktacular All-Ages Ghost Walk

The Private Spooktacular Ghost Walk covers about a mile of downtown San Antonio and the River Walk area over ninety minutes, packing in as many haunted sites as the clock allows. Your guide leads you past the historic hotels where guests report visitors who are not on the register, the oldest buildings in the city where the founders are said to linger and the quieter stretches of the River Walk where the stories get strange. The walk stays outdoors and does not enter the buildings, so the stories keep moving.

Groups book this for family reunions, scout troops, school clubs, birthday parties, church groups and office teams that want an outing everyone can join regardless of age. Start as early as 10 am or as late as 9 pm, any day of the week, adjust the length, choose your own meeting point or add an ice cream or dessert stop along the route. Guests at the Sheraton Gunter, Home2 Suites Riverwalk, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, Holiday Inn Riverwalk or Courtyard Riverwalk can have the guide meet them at the hotel.

Pricing starts at $300 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $25, and rises to $350 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 18 to 22 guests depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups add a second guide. Street parking is hard to find downtown, but several lots and garages sit near the Alamo, and ride-share drops you right at the meeting point.
