San Diego, the birthplace of California, isn't all sunshine and sandy beaches. Lurking beneath this beautiful vacation destination is a darker, seedier side. With nearly 100 historic buildings, the famous Gaslamp Quarter is the perfect setting for a Nightly Spirits Ghost Tour that you won't soon forget! Join us at the Horton Grand Hotel for a Nightcap before we head out into the dark, lamp-lit streets to hear tales that may or may not keep you up at night! Your guide will share stories about the rough and tumble red-light district that occupied the gaslamp, the spooky sea vessels docked nearby, haunted hotels, restaurants, lighthouses, and even what the US Congress has designated as “The Most Haunted House in America.”

What to Expect:

Your costumed guide will take you on a 1.5-hour journey through the historic Gaslamp Quarter. Your walking tour will begin at a haunted bar, where you can purchase a nightcap if you would like, and while you soak up the spirits that lurk behind the bar, your costumed guide will share stories about the spirits that refuse to depart! Your journey will take you up the famed 5th Avenue, with historic buildings and shadowy nightmares at every corner. In case you'd like to continue your spirit-filled journey, we will end with the recommendation of one of our favorite haunted bars housed in one of the oldest buildings in the Gaslamp!

Tour Requirements:

• The purchase of a nightcap is not included or required.
• All tour guests must be 18+. Only those 21+ with Valid ID can purchase or consume alcohol.
• This is a walking tour that covers up to a mile in total. The terrain is relatively flat, but this tour is not recommended for those with mobility restrictions.
• Tours run in all weather, so please prepare accordingly.
