Seattle Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour
One haunted downtown bar, one nightcap and ninety minutes of Seattle's grown-up ghost stories, all for your group alone. The Private Nightmares and Nightcaps Tour is the darker, shorter cousin of our pub crawl.
📍 Departs from: The Taproom at Pike Place, 1525 1st Ave #16. — please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
Your group meets its costumed guide at a haunted downtown bar and orders an optional nightcap while the guide explains who else is drinking there, and for how long. Then you head out for about a mile of walking through downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market, past the historic buildings where the stories we leave off the family tour belong: the mortuary beneath Kells, the Alibi Room's patient gentleman, the boarding-house deaths and the waterfront's rougher history.
This tour fits a friends' night out, a bachelorette crew that wants chills with its cocktails, a date night with a pulse or a work team that prefers one good drink and a lot of good stories to a long crawl. Private tours run every day with start times from 1 pm to 8:30 pm, and the duration, meeting location and drink stop can be adjusted. Guests at The State Hotel, Palihotel Seattle, Domicile Suites at Harbor Steps or The Charter Hotel can have the guide meet them at the hotel.
Pricing starts at $325 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $27.50, and rises to $375 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide takes 16 to 22 guests depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups add a guide. Everyone must be 18 or older, and only guests 21+ with ID may buy alcohol. Your guide closes the night with a recommendation for another favorite haunted bar.

Do guests need to be 21?
No. The tour is 18 and over. Only guests ordering the nightcap need to be 21 with valid ID.
How is this different from the Booze and Boos?
Shorter and darker. One bar stop instead of three, ninety minutes instead of two and a half hours, and stories told without the filter.
How do we book a larger group?
Base pricing covers up to 10 guests. Reserve online for up to 15 and email us for 16 or more so we can add a guide.
What if it rains?
We walk rain or shine, and the first stop is indoors. Dress for Seattle. If conditions become unsafe we will reach out about rescheduling.
