Seattle Spooktacular All-Ages Ghost Walk

The walk begins at Pike Pub, a former boarding house with its own share of lingering tenants, where your costumed guide gives the group an after-hours look at the building before heading into the Market. From there you cover a little under a mile through the stalls, stairways and hidden corners of Pike Place, a historic district where we are licensed to run tours and where we have spent years doing our own ghost hunting. Expect stops at places you have walked past a hundred times without noticing.

The stories come from the Market's long life as a working waterfront: the dapper gentleman at the Alibi Room still waiting for the ladies of the night who worked nearby, the former mortuary beneath Kells Irish Pub, the boarding-house tenants who never moved on and the experiences our own guides have had after closing time. This is the all-ages version, so the guide keeps the chills friendly and lets the kids do the investigating. Most of these spirits are harmless. Most.

The tour runs about ninety minutes on weekends, mostly outdoors, rain or shine, so dress for Seattle and wear shoes that handle wet brick and stairs. Minors need an accompanying adult, and children 4 and under can join free with a paying adult, subject to availability, if you contact us to add them. Adults may grab a drink at Pike Pub before departure, though it is not included or required.
