Dallas Private Booze and Boos Tour
Our most popular Dallas tour, reserved for your group alone. Two and a half hours, three or four haunted downtown bars and a costumed guide who knows which hotel elevators to avoid.
๐ Departs from: Harwood Tavern, 333 S. Harwood St. โ please arrive about 15 minutes early to check in with your guide.
The Private Booze and Boos Tour is a 2.5-hour walking tour of downtown Dallas with stops at three or four haunted bars, ending at Rodeo Bar. At each stop your group settles in for a drink while the guide introduces the regulars who never left, then you walk the blocks between hearing about the Adolphus Hotel and the bride who never made it to her wedding, the office towers where the night shift includes people who died decades ago and the buildings whose basements the staff would rather not discuss.
This is the format Dallas companies book for team-building and holiday parties, and the one friends book for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends and the in-laws who think Dallas is all highways. Being private, it bends around your plans: most tours start between 5 and 9 pm but afternoons work, drop a stop to shorten the night, skip the drinks or have the guide meet your group at the restaurant where you are finishing dinner. Guests at The Statler, Residence Inn Dallas, Hampton Inn Downtown, Magnolia Dallas or The Adolphus can meet their guide in the lobby.
Pricing starts at $350 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $30, and rises to $400 from mid-September through mid-November. One guide handles 15 to 20 people depending on the date; groups of 16 or more book by email and larger groups are split across guides. Everyone must be 21 or older with ID. DART Rail stops are a short walk from both ends, and if you drive, park near Rodeo Bar rather than in the Green Door lot.

Dallas Private Booze and Boos Tour FAQs
How many people can we bring?
The base rate covers up to 10 guests and one guide takes 15 to 20 depending on the date. Larger groups are split across guides at an additional charge; groups of 16 or more book by email.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks average $8 to $14 at the bars. Guests pay their own way or the organizer can cover the group tab, and your guide knows the specials.
Can we start from our hotel?
Yes, if you are at The Statler, Residence Inn, Hampton Inn Downtown, Magnolia or The Adolphus. Other nearby hotels can often be added for a small charge.
What if the weather is bad?
We tour rain or shine. The bar stops are indoors and the walks between them are short. Texas thunderstorms usually pass before the second round.
