The Private Booze and Boos Tour is a two-hour walking tour of the French Quarter with stops at about four haunted bars. At each one your group settles in for a drink while the guide introduces the regulars who never left, then you walk Pirates Alley and the surrounding blocks hearing the city's creepy, voodoo and bloody history: the fires, the yellow fever, the vampire legends, the voodoo queens and the hotels where guests check in and something else checks out.
This is the format bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday crowds, conference groups and holiday-party planners book when they want New Orleans nightlife with a story attached. Being private, you choose any available start time between 4:30 and 10 pm, any day of the week, and we can adjust the stops and route to suit the group. If you are staying in the Quarter, the guide can often meet you at your hotel. The base price covers up to 10 guests and a single guide can take 18 to 25 depending on the date.
Pricing starts at $370 for up to 10 guests, with additional tickets from $30, and rises to $420 from mid-September through mid-November. Groups of 16 or more book by email, and larger groups are split across guides. Everyone must be 21 or older with ID. The route covers about a mile of old, uneven sidewalks, so it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or for anyone who has already had a long night on Bourbon Street.

How many people can we bring?
The base rate covers up to 10 guests and one guide takes 18 to 25 depending on the date. Larger groups are split across guides at an additional charge; groups of 16 or more book by email.
Are drinks included?
No. You buy your own at each bar, and your guide knows the specials. Organizers can run a group tab if that is easier.
Can we pick our start time?
Yes. Private tours run every day with any available start between 4:30 and 10 pm. Tell us where you are eating and we can begin or end nearby.
What if it rains?
We tour rain or shine. The bar stops are indoors and the walks between them are short. New Orleans storms usually pass before the second round.
